Frequently Asked Questions
Q: Do I need an appointment?
A: Walk-ins may be accepted, but scheduling ensures faster service and guaranteed inventory.
Q: How long does a windshield replacement take?
A: Most replacements take about 1–2 hours depending on the vehicle. Vehicles that require ADAS recalibration may take longer.
Q: Do you offer mobile service?
A: While we have offered mobile service in the past years, we are not offering mobile service at this time. All work is being done in our shop.
Q: How do I know if I need a repair or replacement?
A: Chips and cracks are evaluated based on size, location, and safety. Minor damage may be repairable, but larger cracks or damage in the driver’s line of sight often require replacement.
Q: Will my rock chip repair be visible?
A: Repairs restore strength but are not invisible. Each chip is unique and while some may visibly improve, others may not change at all in appearance. Damage directly in the line of sight requires a replacement for safety purposes. If you don’t want a visible rock chip, then replacement is the only way to make glass look brand new.
Q: Do you repair side windows, and rear glass?
A: Yes, we service all types of auto glass, including windshields, door glass, quarter glass, and rear windows.
Q: Will my insurance cover the repair or replacement?
A: Most comprehensive policies cover auto glass. Contact your claims department and file a “glass only” claim. You can also file it easily using your insurance app on your phone or computer.
Q: Do you calibrate ADAS (Advanced Driver Assistance Systems) or Subaru Eyesight cameras?
A: Yes, we have the most current technology available on the market to successfully calibrate your ADAS cameras. Vehicles with ADAS require recalibration after replacement to keep safety features working properly.
